This manner of working from a distance may offer a competitive advantage in attracting and retaining highly skilled professionals.
The purpose of the research presented in this article is to identify guidelines for the implementation and management of telecommuting, as an alternative to overcome the shortage of qualified professionals in Information Technology (IT).
