Abstract: We present the relativistic calculation of the beta-decay of tritium in ahadron model. The elementary particle treatment of the transition 3H -> 3He +e^- + nu e is performed in analogy with the description of the beta-decay ofneutron. The effects of higher order terms of hadron current and nuclear recoilare taken into account in this formalism. The relativistic Kurie function isderived and presented in a simple form suitable for the determination ofneutrino masses from the shape of the endpoint spectrum. A connection with thecommonly used Kurie function is established.
