Access to available data is important incompleting the National Environmental Policy ActNEPA process, and in processing applicationsuniformly and with scientific basis. To increase ourability to assess cumulative impacts, we have initiated adata collection effort that will allow us to assess theeffects of project proposals, along with past, presentand reasonably foreseeable future actions, as defined bythe Council on Environmental Quality. SavannahDistrict coordinated with key state and federal agencies, and non-governmental organizations to develop a list ofparameters that each agency feels is requisite indetermining cumulative impacts.
