This paper aims to identify and clarify the cybersecurity risks and their interaction with the power system in Smart Grid. TheSCADA system and other communication networks interact with the power system ona real time basis, so it is important to understand the interaction between twolayers to protect the power system from potential cyber threats. This paper hasshown the risks of the open architecture SCADA in a quantitative method andproposed effective security measures through case studies.
