This paper studied phase transition & tilting of oxygen octahedron in Ba1-xSrxZn1-3Nb2-3O3 microwave dielectric ceramics, which were prepared by traditional solid sintering method. The 1:1 and 1:2 supper lattice diffraction peaks appear, which shows the presence of the phase transition. With the increase of Sr2+ content, crystal structures turn from the disordered phase to the ordered phase and the symmetry of the crystal structure drops. The diffraction peaks at high angle in XRD patterns broaden, split and turn to high angles, which shows the tilting of the oxygen octahedron in crystal structures. The tilting of the oxygen octahedron is the main reason of the phase transition.
