Abstract: We combine the analyses for flavor changing neutral current processes anddark matter solutions in minimal-type supersymmetric grand unified theory GUTmodels, SO10 and SU5, with a large B s - anti-B s mixing phase and largetan beta. For large tan beta, the double penguin diagram dominates the SUSYcontribution to the B s - anti-B s mixing amplitude. Also, the BrB s -> mu muconstraint becomes important as it grows as tan^6 beta, although it can stillbe suppressed by large pseudoscalar Higgs mass m A. We investigate thecorrelation between B s -> mu mu and the dark matter direct detectioncross-section through their dependence on m A. In the minimal-type of SU5with type I seesaw, the large mixing in neutrino Dirac couplings results inlarge lepton flavor violating decay process tau to mu gamma, which in turn setsupper bound on m A. In the SO10 case, the large mixing can be chosen to be inthe Majorana couplings instead, and the constraint from Brtau -> mu gamma canbe avoided. The heavy Higgs funnel region turns out to be an interestingpossibility in both cases and the direct dark matter detection should bepossible in the near future in these scenarios.
