Abstract : In this paper, a novel method is proposed for detecting Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar PolSAR targets. The proposed method is a combination of the Target Scattering Vector Model TSVM and the Generalized Likelihood Ratio Test - Linear Quadratic GLRT-LQ detector. The TSVM provides an unique and roll-invariant decomposition of the observed target vector by means of four independent parameters. The combination of those two methods will allow the detection of any oriented targets.
