Oral Lichen Planus (OLP), a chronic inflammatory disease of unknown etiology, which affects the skin and-or mucosal tissues, is an autoimmune disease (pathology) of special interest to dentists due to its oral manifestations and its possible association with Hepatitis C virus (HCV).
