Abstract: Assuming antiferromagnetic orbital correlations to model the pseudogap statein the underdoped high-temperature superconductors, we study how thiscorrelation is distinguished from the d-wave superconductivity correlation withincluding the finite-range antiferromagnetic correlation effect. In spite ofthe fact that both correlations have the same d-wave symmetry, thecontributions from each correlation is clearly distinguished in the spectralweight and the density of states.
