Abstract: Doctoral thesis. Results of study of yearling Columbian ground squirrels Spermophilus columbianus from four sites in montane habitat of southwestern Alberta during early May to mid-August of 1982-4. Yearlings were radio-collared and followed to monitor their excursions, dispersal movements, and fates.
