This report provides statistical information on fall 1995 enrollments in Pennsylvania colleges and universities. Data are drawn from an annual survey of 144 Pennsylvania colleges and universities and national surveys conducted by the National Center for Education Statistics. Approximately 618,600 students were enrolled in postsecondary degree programs, including 47,289 students in 95 private licensed schools authorized to grant specialized associate degrees. Tables and figures present the following data: (1) high school graduates and college first-time freshmen enrollments, 1986 through 1995; (2) fall enrollments by race, 1986 and 1995; (3) fall enrollments by level and sex, 1986 and 1995; (4) fall enrollments by type of institution, United States and Pennsylvania, by selected years; (5) fall enrollments by level and status, by selected years; (6) fall enrollments by sex and status, 1986 through 1995; (7) fall enrollments by institutional category and sex, 1995; (8) fall enrollments by institutional category and race, 1986 and 1995; (9) fall enrollments by age and sex, 1995; (10) fall undergraduate enrollments in occupationally specific programs by institutional category, 1987 and 1995; and (11) percentage change in fall enrollments by state, 1985 to 1993. Appendixes provide additional data, a glossary, and notes on sources. (MDM)
