This bilingual (English/Spanish) newsletter provides reproducible information and activities that are useful for teachers, parents, and children involved in migrant preschool education. Articles for teachers offer suggestions for language development, home visits, Even Start programs, developmentally appropriate kindergarten, and cultural sensitivity. Other articles address reading to children, dealing with children's grief, recognizing Latino strengths, and preventing problems in young children through appropriate early experiences. Information for parents covers discipline, involvement in school, nutrition, toy guns, television, reading to children, encouraging informal research, and recognizing problems and potential in children. Activities for children include games and worksheets on nutrition, hygiene, safety, dangerous creatures, and shapes, as well as a children's story to be read aloud.
