Abstract: Making use of toric geometry we construct a class of global F-theory GUTmodels. The base manifolds are blowups of Fano threefolds and the Calabi-Yaufourfold is a complete intersection of two hypersurfaces. We identify possibleGUT divisors and construct SO10 models on them using the spectral coverconstruction. We use a split spectral cover to generate chiral matter on the 10curves in order to get more degrees of freedom in phenomenology. We use abelianflux to break SO10 to SU5\times U1 which is interpreted as a flippedSU5 model. With the GUT Higgses in the SU5\times U1 model it is possibleto further break the gauge symmetry to the Standard Model. We present severalphenomenologically attractive examples in detail.
