Abstract: This short article describes flow parameters, numerical method, andanimations of the fluid dynamics video -LES of an Inclined Jet into aSupersonic Turbulent Crossflow-this http URLhigh-resolution andthis http URLlow-resolution video. We performed large-eddy simulation with the sub-gridscale LES-SGS stretched-vortex model of momentum and scalar transport tostudy the gas-dynamics interactions of a helium inclined round jet into asupersonic $M=3.6$ turbulent \Reth$ =13\times10^3$ air flow over a flatsurface. The video shows the temporal development of Mach-number and magnitudeof density-gradient in the mid-span plane, and isosurface of heliummass-fraction and $\lam 2$ vortical structures. The identified vorticalstructures are sheets, tilted tubes, and discontinuous rings. The vorticalstructures are shown to be well correlated in space and time with heliummass-fraction isosurface $Y { m He}=0.25$.
